• Counselling is a form of psychological therapy that aims to help individuals overcome emotional challenges, gain self-awareness, and improve their overall mental well-being.

I provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

  • Knowing if you need counselling can be a personal and subjective decision. However, there are certain signs and indicators that can help you determine if seeking counselling would be beneficial for you. Here are a few factors to consider: emotional distress, interpersonal difficulties, traumatic experiences, unhealthy coping mechanisms, and lack of fulfillment or purpose.

Remember, seeking counselling is a courageous step towards self-improvement and mental well-being. I can help to assess your unique situation and provide guidance tailored to your needs.

  • The duration of therapy varies depending on several factors, including the individual's needs, goals, and progress. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to the question of how long therapy should last. Some individuals may benefit from short-term therapy that lasts a few weeks or months, while others may require longer-term therapy that can span several years.

  • Please respect your scheduled appointment time, as it is exclusively reserved for your benefit. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly request a minimum of 24 hours notice. This allows me the opportunity to offer the time slot to another client in need. Failure to provide adequate notice or missing your appointment will result in being charged for the full session.

  • We can provide you with the necessary documentation, such as receipts and invoices, to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

We accept payments from special programs such as ICBC, CVAP and WorkSafeBC.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your provider covers the particular designations of your counselling therapist.

  • My current rate is $157.50 per hour.

  • To better accommodate my schedule, I have transitioned exclusively to remote (phone and video) sessions. Regardless of whether the session is conducted in-person or virtually, I have found that building rapport and achieving meaningful therapeutic progress can be achieved equally well. However, I understand that some individuals may not feel comfortable with virtual service delivery due to various reasons. In such cases, I maintain a list of clinicians who provide in-person support and would be happy to share it with you if you desire.
